Compassion for the Disabled Organisation (CFD) is a media-based non-profit committed to using storytelling and digital platforms to fight discrimination and connect disabled individuals to direct support with dignity and visibility.

Mission

We fight discrimination through the media and link every disabled voice to direct help.

Goal

To empower disabled individuals by amplifying their voices and connecting them to compassionate supporters who can help transform their lives.

Vision

A society where disabled voices are heard, discrimination is dismantled, and every individual receives the support they need to live with dignity.

Core Values

  • Dignity: We believe every disabled person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported without pity.

  • Visibility: We use media to ensure that the lives and voices of disabled individuals are brought to the forefront.

🗣️ Direct Voice

A platform where disabled individuals, groups, or organizations openly share their lived experiences, challenges, and aspirations. With their consent, CDO shares these powerful stories across all media platforms to call for direct, compassionate support. Every Thursday, we go live on social media, radio, or TV to challenge stigma and speak out against discrimination.

🤝 Compassion Friday

A weekly outreach dedicated to giving back. The organization distributes donated or purchased items including basic needs, assistive technologies, or accessibility modifications (like ramps or wider doorways)  depending on available resources. It’s a day to turn compassion into action.
