Compassion for the Disabled is a registered non-governmental organization based in Kampala District. We focus on using media as a tool to spotlight inclusive solutions and provide a platform for persons with disabilities to speak for themselves, raise awareness of their needs, and connect with those who can offer support. By bridging visibility with action, we foster a culture of compassion, dignity, and inclusion. The organization aims to build a media-driven support model that can be replicated across Uganda and beyond — transforming how society understands and responds to disability.

Our Mission

We use media to promote inclusive solutions and compassion for the unique needs of persons with disabilities.

Vission

A compassionate Uganda where every disabled voice is heard and valued.

A weekly campaign that encourages simple, meaningful acts of kindness toward persons with disabilities—such as donating a meal, visiting someone, or offering small but needed support.

Inclusive Solutions

A media-driven initiative that showcases real-world disability-friendly designs, services, and innovations. We give visibility to practical solutions that promote accessibility and inspire wider adoption.

Compassion Spark

An opportunity where persons with disabilities speak for themselves—sharing their lives, needs, and hopes to drive action and fuel compassion within communities.
