My name is Mugabi Gabriel, a journalist and founder of Compassion for the Disabled Uganda. This organization is my heartfelt commitment to connecting the unique needs of persons with disabilities to compassionate supporters through the power of media.
I believe that those who are privileged have a responsibility to uplift those whose voices often go unheard. By sharing authentic stories rooted in empathy and truth, we don’t just raise awareness we spark meaningful support and inclusive solutions that improve lives.
For me, journalism is more than a profession; it’s a tool to amplify disabled voices, promote real-world change, and build a compassionate society where everyone is valued and supported.
