Help match individuals, organizations, or businesses with specific needs shared through our platforms — turning compassion into tangible help.

Assist in producing videos, photos, and written content that brings the voices and experiences of PWDs to life — with creativity, respect, and impact.
🎉 Support Community Events
Volunteer with us during our Inclusion Tours at schools, community events, and public gatherings — supporting planning, logistics, and creating inclusive, welcoming environments for everyone.
🗂️ Maintain Records & Follow-Up
Support our team by tracking stories, documenting support provided, and ensuring transparency and accountability in our response efforts.

Membership Policy & Benefits
1. Membership Categories
- a) Disabled Individuals (Beneficiaries)
- Ugandan nationals living with disabilities.
- Registered by field staff of the organization.
- Membership is free of charge.
- Issued a Compassion for the Disabled (CFD) ID upon approval.
- b) Supporters (Non-Disabled Individuals)
- Ugandan or foreign individuals who support the organization’s mission.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Required to complete a membership registration form.
- Annual membership fee: UGX 50,000.
- Issued a Membership ID upon approval.
- c) Businesses
- Legally registered business entities aligned with the organization’s goals.
- Must submit valid business registration documentation.
- Annual membership fee: UGX 100,000.
- Issued a Membership Certificate of Compassion upon approval by the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
- d) Organizations
- NGOs, institutions, or associations committed to supporting persons with disabilities.
- Required to provide legal registration documents.
- Annual membership fee: UGX 300,000.
- Issued a Membership Certificate of Compassion upon approval by the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
2. Membership Application Process
For Supporters, Businesses, and Organizations:
- Complete the official membership registration form.
- Attach valid identification or legal documents, as applicable.
- Pay the required annual membership fee.
- Await review and approval by the Secretariat and Executive Director.
- Upon approval, an official Membership ID or Certificate will be issued.
For Disabled Individuals (Beneficiaries):
- Registered directly in the field by authorized staff of the organization.
- Personal and contact information, along with needs and next of kin, are recorded.
- Issued a unique CFD Identification Number (CFD No.) after verification and approval.
3. Membership Benefits For Disabled Individuals (Beneficiaries):
- Full membership recognition and inclusion in organizational programs.
- Issued a CFD Membership ID.
- Access to the Compassion App (exclusively for members).
- Right to post essential needs in the App and connect with compassionate supporters.
- Participation in verified programs and opportunities shared by the organization.
- Opportunity to be featured on media platforms to share stories and raise awareness.
- Weekly Compassion Calls every Friday to check on well-being and note emergency needs.
- Invitations to celebratory events (e.g., Christmas, New Year, Eid, Easter).
- Right to vote and stand for leadership positions within the organization.
- Access to training, resources, and support services provided by the organization.
- Opportunity to contribute feedback and ideas on organizational activities.
- Ability to refer other persons with disabilities for support.
- Eligible to receive a Certificate of Compassion, based on positive contribution and subject to approval by the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
B. For Supporters (Individuals, Businesses, and Organizations):
- Issued an official Membership ID (individuals) or Certificate of Compassion (businesses and organizations).
- Access to the Compassion App to view verified beneficiary needs and provide direct support.
- Opportunity to support, connect with, or sponsor persons with disabilities.
- Invitations to organization-hosted events and activities.Right to vote and stand for leadership positions within the organization.
- Recognition of contributions through organizational platforms.
- Right to provide feedback, ideas, and participate in advocacy and awareness activities.
- Certificate of Compassion awarded to businesses and organizations for outstanding commitment (approved by the Executive Committee and Board of Directors).
4. Member Responsibilities
- Adhere to the organization’s mission, values, and policies.
- Engage respectfully and professionally with all stakeholders.
- Participate actively in at least one organization-related event or activity annually.
- Pay applicable membership fees on time.
- Use provided platforms (including the app) ethically, without promoting political, harmful, or inappropriate content.
- Uphold the organization’s integrity and reputation through advocacy, volunteerism, and support.
5. Membership Renewal
- Membership must be renewed annually.
- Requires updating of member details and payment of the applicable fee.
- Renewal also requires participation in at least one activity or program within the previous year.
6. Membership Termination
Membership may be terminated in the following cases:
- Voluntary Resignation: A member may resign by written notice.
- Non-Compliance: Repeated failure to meet member responsibilities.
- Misconduct: Behavior that damages the integrity of the organization or its members, as determined by the Board after due process.
